Hourly playtime rewards: what you earn and how to claim it
Every hour you spend in the world earns one random reward, with no daily limit. Your time adds up across sessions, and you claim from the website or in game.
How it works
While your account is connected to a realm, UnrealMu counts your playtime. Every full hour adds one reward to your pending list. There is no daily cap, and your progress keeps going across relogs and past midnight. Time is tracked separately on Hard 5x, Classic 100x and Fast 1000x.
Connected MU Helper play counts toward your hour. Offline leveling does not.
What each hourly reward can be
Each hour gives one prize picked at random. Every choice below is equally likely.

| Fast 1000x | 15 Large Healing Potions and 15 Large Mana Potions, or a Box of Kundun +3, +4 or +5 (odds) |
How to claim
- Enter the game with a character on the realm you were playing.
- On the website, open your account and press Claim rewards in the playtime panel. In game you can type /reward, and /reward status shows your progress.
- Check your character inventory. Rewards that do not fit stay pending until you free space.
Reward medals on Hard 5x
Hard 5x hourly rewards can be silver or gold medals. Redeem them from the playtime panel on your account page while your character is in the world. Medals never give jewels.
- Silver medal: a random pack of 9 Large Healing Potions or 9 Large Mana Potions, or a regular +3 item such as a Light Saber or a Battle Bow.
- Gold medal: a random pack of 15 Large Healing Potions or 15 Large Mana Potions, a regular +5 item such as a Heliacal Sword or a Tiger Bow, or a Guardian Angel or Imp pet.
Tips
- Close any trade or NPC dialog in game before claiming.
- Claim in the realm where you played: rewards and progress are separate per realm.
